Jon3800 ::: Favorites 2007-11-03 16:17:49 I want one so bad but its around $400 here. Im actually adding 4 more Ts. What do you think of psmalopoeus cambridgei or poecilotheria formosa? __________________________________________________
piggy237 ::: Favorites 2007-11-04 14:13:36 Hello Jon, Both of those are lovely looking T's, if i had to choose it would be the Psalmopoeus cambridgei, only because we have a have P.irminia (Sun Tiger) and she is lovely (with her red nike ticks ;o) __________________________________________________
Jon3800 ::: Favorites 2007-11-04 20:48:37 Ya, I call that one the SWOOSH spider. I'm leaning towards the formosa, because it's rare and cheaper ($55 for 1/2inch, but they do have a $200 2 inch female. The cambridgei is 3 inch female and goes for $80 but theyre mostly brown with the red feet. Im adding H.maculata, c.cyaneopubescens and p.ornata so right there its $100 total. What do you think? __________________________________________________
piggy237 ::: Favorites 2007-11-05 15:34:15 Wow $100 for those 3 spids is a real bargain !! we have a green bottle blue and she's soo docile. Very nice T's. Be sure to video them if you get them. we'll do more of ours soon. Take care :o) __________________________________________________
Jon3800 ::: Favorites 2007-11-05 19:52:12 YA, well all of them are 1/2 inch except the ornata at 1 inch. Im also considering a rufilata or a miranda. Which do I choose, the cambridgei, formosa or those 2? __________________________________________________
Jon3800 ::: Favorites 2007-11-05 19:52:43 Im getting them tomorrow :) __________________________________________________

omcx1 ::: Favorites 2007-11-19 00:22:30 Man. I have been keeping and studying spiders and scorpions for over 30 years and P. metallica is one of the most stunning species ever to become available. I have always loved Pokies and this species is my absolute favorite. When I started, B. smithi was the only species available and it was mistakenly called the Mexican Red Leg. Yours seems to have a very docile temperment. All of mine have been very skittish. Not aggressive, just fast and unpredictable. __________________________________________________ |
