I cant really give medical advice as it establishes patient-doctor rltnship in medicolegal terms, but the best way is to pshycologically fight it, try hard not to think of it, focusing on other things (i know its hard) good luck buddy.. msg me if anything

I think I understand what you're saying. When I swallow I get a click in my ears, and it is most likely a muscle. I'm not sure if that is normal, but I've just gotten used to it. Also happens when I yawn. Such spasms would be hell! Sorry to hear.

Do you ever get eyelid twitches of myoclonic jerks before you sleep that wake you up?

Oh my god! I'm sorry about this. It must be very painful. I can relate to how you feel because I experienced this a few time(good thing it's gone). I wish you will feel better. Don't worry about depression because a lot more people experience it than you think. In fact, everyone experiences that. I wish you good luck because I understand how you feel.

You might try to find a dentist over there that can make a May splint. It sets the vertical dimension of your jaw using the reflex swallow. Your front teeth will be about 1/2 inch apart. You wear it on your bottom teeth when you go to bed at night. This may help. I know it works for some cases of tinnitus.

Apart from the middle ear myoclonus I also get popping and cracking sound in my ears sometimes when I swallow. Do you know what I mean?

Hi. It's Matt. Glad to watch your video and I'm so sorry you are going through this. In a way, I do relate because of my constant twitches, but I've never experienced the uncomfortableness of what you are dealing with in your ear. Did I hear you say that you've been given a diagnosis for the twitches? How much does the treatment cost?

Iknow what you are going through..I had Tinnitus since two years ago,it just appeared..When I finally was supposed to be happy,I found the man of my dreams,my Tinnitus appeared..Soon I`ll get a CT scan, another stupid examination to see if I have a tumor in my ear..
