SmartHandsCA ::: Favorites I started at 4 months but she didn't start signing back to me until she was 9.5 months. The key is to keep at it...if you do it regularly then they will pick it up faster than if you only sign the odd time. ladybeanpod ::: Favorites My son has just be-friended a young lady that has only had the communication of signing all her life. They communicate well! A couple of weekends ago I just learned the sign alphabet. I have always used physical communication and exaggerated movements of communication with my son as a baby.
