Andrewz05 ::: Favorites 2007-12-21 15:08:29 I don't think my camera can go to 1/30 I'll have to check. It was on 1/60. thanks for the advice, I'll have to look into make some barn doors for my halogen lights. :D __________________________________________________
TheJazzdogg ::: Favorites 2007-12-21 08:18:42 Brightness looks fine on my screen but I would pull the shutter rate back to 1/30. You'll lose interlacing (that does not mean it is progressive) but get more exposure - another stop which will be a real help but don't up the gain as its really obvious with blacks. I really liked the shadow given from the black dude but you may want to use some barn doors to block the light from going under the car as it was obvious it was being lit from behind. Apart from that it looked great! __________________________________________________
Andrewz05 ::: Favorites 2007-12-19 00:59:48 Yeah I upped the gamma on the youtube version. ;) I should have upped it a tad more. __________________________________________________
goldenpizza ::: Favorites 2007-12-18 22:44:43 Try Higher wattage light bulbs like 100w or 120w? Also in editing try to correct the GAMMA. Should be a filter if you have it. __________________________________________________
Andrewz05 ::: Favorites 2007-12-18 01:48:40 Thanks! I had the Iris open all the way and the shutter at 1/60. It's just dark on computer screens, plus it's hard to see if the viewer isn't on full screen. It's really just a lighting issue. We had one halogen light, and 3 clamp lights, but the clamp lights weren't bright enough to carry that far. __________________________________________________
goldenpizza ::: Favorites 2007-12-17 23:50:22 I know you like this look, see if you can adjust the exposure on your camera. It may help. __________________________________________________
Andrewz05 ::: Favorites 2007-12-12 19:14:54 Yeah, I agree. It looks perfect on my TV. It's just darker on computers. I think we will be set for saturday! __________________________________________________
Andrewz05 ::: Favorites 2007-12-12 19:11:35 Thanks! :D __________________________________________________
JonHanson ::: Favorites 2007-12-11 20:53:55 Looking great. Some shots needed more lighting, but you live and you learn. Although, maybe some shots seem like they could use less light. It's a Delicate balance, that probably needs fancier lights. __________________________________________________
PhelpDogg ::: Favorites 2007-12-10 18:57:09 Ohhh.. now I see what you're getting at. Good job on the scene, great lighting. __________________________________________________
Andrewz05 ::: Favorites 2007-12-10 17:47:34 To Avoid being suspicious. And the lighting is really dark so it would be hard for cars driving by to see what's goin' down. ;D __________________________________________________
PhelpDogg ::: Favorites 2007-12-10 16:41:24 No problem, one question.. why is the killer putting the body away right out in the open? :-P __________________________________________________
Agriking ::: Favorites 2007-12-10 12:45:00 Looks good so far. The finished production should be excellent. __________________________________________________
Andrewz05 ::: Favorites 2007-12-10 02:40:34 Thanks! It was tricky to light. It was done with one Halogen light. and the natural lighting outside. ;D __________________________________________________
RDJim ::: Favorites 2007-12-10 01:01:36 Looks good so far...nice render for a night scene. __________________________________________________ |
