You can make a smart sci-movie that still entertains (Superman, Jurassic Park), and Transformers certainly has enough characters and back story to make a great epic. Relugus ::: Favorites Agree with alot of your comments. What frustrates me is what the movie could have been. When Hollywood adapts a comic-book it says it will "make it more realistic" but actually takes all the realistic stuff out. I liked the romance actually but they should have emphasised Sam and Mikaela being friends more, and their relationships with the Autobots.
