shutterbugblues ::: Favorites When I first watched this performance on DVD, I thought Clapton's solo on Have You Heard was underwhelming and lackluster. Having come across this again on YouTube, I see now that the solo was actually pretty good and "voicey". While Buddy's solo did have more kick and life because of his louder and punchier tone, I can still remember how Clapton's solo went whereas I can't really recall Buddy's, which is still great but reminds me too much of Walter Trout for some reason. 07-10-03 22:42:10 __________________________________________________

ryanm00 ::: Favorites Not only is Buddy a bad ass, but he's also one of the nicest and most down to earth people you'll ever meet. I ran sound for him a couple times, and he was absolutely humble as he burned the house down. Not only did Buddy out-play and out-class Eric, he had better tone and he played more than just the "Eric Clapton" lick over and over again.
