Not really... if you think about it the hardest part is the flight plan... and most of that is done via the FMC, it calculates everything!! from the landing and flap speed to the weight of the plane at the Airport, Go BOEING!!

PAPI is just an abbreviation. look up for Precision Approach Path Indicator and you will have information about them.
