KingHeathen ::: Favorites not sure who you are talking to here...but I'll assume it's me and say, "RIGHT, because you knew me SO WELL back then...I'm glad you reminded me of how 'hardened' I was as I preached to everyone I knew." 07-07-02 02:30:39 __________________________________________________
alwaysopen ::: Favorites Dude, you weren't, Your heart was hardened then as it is now. I have waited for your crack and voila! Why doesn't he speak to us now? We shut him off with iPods, cell phones, TV or the computer. We can't see, hear or feel ourselves dying while pleasing the flesh. 07-07-02 01:49:39 __________________________________________________
KingHeathen ::: Favorites I make that exact point in my "Who' is more moral" video 07-06-15 17:32:54 __________________________________________________
serok37 ::: Favorites I appologize for going off topic of this video, but I just wanted to hear your beliefs. I take it that you figure that if there is a god not defined in any book or proven beyond a doubt, it does not matter if you believe in it so long as you live a moral life. God probably would not punish one for refusing to believe in it without evidence, and would still include one in an afterlife. If anything, a moral athiest should appear to be better in god's eyes. Thank you for your time. 07-06-15 17:28:16 __________________________________________________
KingHeathen ::: Favorites ok, then you can't prove jack, because you don't have a god to even prove....so what is your point? If you have no religion, then you have no god...the trap is the abstract god...the one with no definition...the one with no claims. I can make up one of those too. This ENTIRE point of this video is "once you make a claim for your god, it can be tested" 07-06-15 16:12:58 __________________________________________________
KingHeathen ::: Favorites simply put...no. As skeptics, we would see if we could figure it out...we are perfectly happy with an answer of "I don't know" until we do. 07-06-15 16:10:35 __________________________________________________
serok37 ::: Favorites What trap are you afraid of, when you are 100% sure that there is no god? I'm just looking for someone to explain why they know there is no possible chance that god exists; I have no religion (the impossibilities and contradictions of the buybull turned me off of it long ago) and I am not trying to "trap" you. 07-06-15 15:23:02 __________________________________________________
serok37 ::: Favorites Now what exactly makes you believe that if we measure effects brought about by god, we will attribute them to god and not something else? There is not always a way to know what brings about an effect, but would not an athiest, muslim, christian, agnostic, whatever, almost certainly attribute these effects to what they believe in when they are uncertain? 07-06-15 15:12:56 __________________________________________________
KingHeathen ::: Favorites perfectly put, fluffy. 07-06-15 12:51:36 __________________________________________________
KingHeathen ::: Favorites no, what happened is I'm not going for your trap. I SAID CLEARLY, that if you want to go for an abstract God, then yes...you can't show anything...but AS SOON as you start making claims, we can test those claims. 07-06-15 12:51:15 __________________________________________________ |
