GobBass ::: Favorites Whoever came up with this....freaking genius. 07-08-25 14:33:18 _____________________________________________________
luno44 ::: Favorites I see "fun at work" then "slave to work" then back to "let's go for a ride." 07-08-04 23:09:25 _____________________________________________________
Aragond68 ::: Favorites Wooooow, they made TELEVISIONS in America?! So... what did all the Chinese used to do back then? ;-p Interesting choice of music. :-D 07-07-24 10:34:37 _____________________________________________________
IAMNOTHUMAN ::: Favorites Brilliant. It surprised me to see the impact the score had on me, on both versions, and the contrast between them. It's as if the images acted to heighten the impact created by the sound regardless of their actual content. Awesome experience. Thank you for this. 07-06-09 21:57:47 _____________________________________________________
ProtocolRecords ::: Favorites This track is "Spanish Flea" by Herb Alpert and Tiajuana Brass, for those of you who are interested. 07-05-26 22:41:53 _____________________________________________________
conlon1965 ::: Favorites as someone who loves the original film, i was still pleased to see this, as it highlights the way we allow ourselves to be maniputated by filmakers & musicians. they just get in your head and play with it, which is what makes it so great. i'm going to show portions of Koyaanisquatsi to some young people i'm working on a film project with - perhaps i can work out a way to show your version...? 07-01-30 09:04:08 _____________________________________________________
mistersofteeee ::: Favorites Great work, definitely a bit different from the original Glass score! The Brass tune reminds me of a Sesame Street interlude or something, showing kids about the wonders of mechanization :-P The Requiem piece fits nicely too! I did my own 'redux' of the Cloudscape portion of the film, check it out by searching for "Koyaanisqatsi Cloudscape + Ulrich Schnauss"! 06-10-01 17:35:20 _____________________________________________________ |
