bajanacker ::: Favorites I want it too . I'll give you guyz my HV circuit . I made it using a ballast coil . 07-08-31 15:23:37 __________________________________________________
footandmouthdisease ::: Favorites awsome one of the best homemade stun guns ive seen 07-08-29 15:28:16 __________________________________________________
DrMario2007baka ::: Favorites Yes, and use MOV (metal-oxide Varistor) as a add-in protection, it will help halting back EMF voltage. Trust me, I have done that before - I even used it for X-ray generation and laser pumping (OOhh, my favorite, Nitrogen laser! It's actually easier to build, anyways.) 07-07-28 22:15:18 __________________________________________________
31080411b ::: Favorites dude how the feck did you power it from one single 9 volt battery! nice going, i tried many times, evan with diodes my 555 blow up lol 07-07-24 04:24:17 __________________________________________________
segarza ::: Favorites Be sure to use blocking diodes in the sensitive areas of your circuit. 07-07-08 13:55:55 __________________________________________________
sdphotos ::: Favorites grab an old stereo and use the transformer.... Do the same thing with it, If you want to have fun get a couple of friends and stand in a circle and complete a circuit with 2 people holding one wire on each end. Everyone feels the zap. Kinda like the old boxes @ disneyland..lol 07-05-12 06:16:31 __________________________________________________

majorvoltage ::: Favorites I just had a 555 oscillator driving an NPN transistor between saturation and cutoff, with the primary of the ignition connected between the positive supply and the collector of the transistor. The problem I had was that the back EMF from the coil would forward bias the collector-base junction and feed back into the 555 timer burning it out. At least that's what I suspect was happening. It would probably work better if I used a MOSFET which I plan to try when I get a spare moment. 07-03-02 10:31:48 __________________________________________________ |
